Your Online Catalogue
We will consult with you on the best method of transferring your existing product database onto your website. We would expect you to already have a suitable database and can recommend changes that we think should be made in order to maximise the flexibility and power of the online catalogue. We will transfer your existing database from most MS formats (For Example, CSV, Text, Access,
Excel) onto the website for you. You can then take control of your own data or use us for regular updates. Regular updates would be charged at £199 per annum for a maximum of 12 updates.
Catalogue Limits
The DIGIPRO system can support online catalogues containing up to 5000 products. If your catalogue is larger than this then unfortunately we cannot support a service without employing a SQL type database system,
which would extend your cost considerably.
Search System
We provide a bespoke search system based on your exact requirements. Typically this will be a string search across all fields in each product item entry in the database. These searches use our own search logic and typically complete in a matter of seconds.
Currency Systems
The DIGIPRO system is
able to interrogate the exchange rates selected on your website providing you are using Digital Ornaments exchange rate subsystem (DIGI-ERS). This is handled automatically and with no additional input from the customer. Once an exchange rate is selected online, it remains in effect on the customers PC for a period of one year. Subsequent visits to your website during the period will automatically recall the preset exchange rate.
Seamless
Integration
All of the DIGIPRO catalogue systems support the same search facility. This is a bespoke system based on our core product but heavily customised to integrate SEAMLESSLY with the look and feel of the remainder of your website. This gives your site a more professional and consistent appearance and consistency is an important factor in website design. We liase with you to ensure that what you see in your catalogue is exactly what you require.
Purchasing Items
The catalogue will link seamlessly with our DIGICAT shopping basket systems.
Images
DIGIPRO-1 does not support images. If you require images in your online catalogue, please review the DIGIPRO-2 module.
