Selecting Exchange Rates
We will provide a bespoke currency selection screen for your website. This will be based on our existing ERS1 system but will be customised to integrate fully with your selected number of currencies and your graphic charter. The currency will default to Sterling if not selected.
Currency Persistence
Once a
customer selects a currency on their PC, that currency remains in effect for a period of one year. Each time they visit in that period, the system will automatically select the appropriate exchange rate for them and apply that to the online catalogue and shopping basket displays. The currency will be reset if a) the customer changes the exchange rate, b) a period of one year elapses or c) the customer deletes the stored information cookie from their PC.
Seamless Integration
All of the DIGIPRO Online Catalogue systems and DIGICAT Order Processing systems integrate seamlessly with the currency exchange rate facility. Currency changes are effective to all your outstanding shopping baskets and catalogue searches around the world INSTANTLY.
Updating Exchange Rates
The exchange rates are held in a single file, which you will be required to
update as often as you wish. This file can be updated easily from ANY ISP via your web browser using FileMan.

Automatic Daily or Monthly Updates
We can automatically update your exchange rate file on a daily or monthly basis if you require. This will involve us updating a file on your web space and you will have to agree to this. It also means that we
have to manually perform this update each day or month, which will carry a service charge of £199 per annum.
More than TEN Currencies
If you require more than TEN different currencies then we will charge £95 for each additional TEN or fraction thereof. |
