1997 saw me become a home-owner when I purchased a
victorian terraced house in Woodford Green, with my girlfriend,
Julie. The house was built in 1895 but luckily has
been brought up-to-date with interior fitments and fittings. We are expecting
our first baby at the end of March 1998, updates of which will be announced
across the globe on the baby watch page. We
were both born in Wanstead (East London) and and spent our childhood in
Woodford. We have a black lab, 'Gobions Party Politics' or more commonly -
Max. At 15 months, he is still a pup albeit a very
large and heavy one!
Woodford Green is a small town in Essex. It has a lot of historical interest and has restricted modern growth due to surrounding green-belt land. Unfortunately, the green-belt didn't stop the town from being split in half by the Central Line and then later by the M11 motorway. Historical Epping Forest is about a ten minute drive away and details of the forest and surrounding areas including Woodford can be found at the Epping Forest website.
