I am currently employed by Neopost Limited (UK) which was formed in 1993 by the de-merger of Alcatel Business Systems. I joined Alcatel Business Systems in September 1984 and transferred voluntarily to Neopost after the de-merger. For more information on Alcatel, check out the Alcatel website.
My current posiiton is that of Systems Development Manager. I am responsible for the provision and maintenance of all applications software on both PC and Mainframe platforms. These responsibilities include evaluating user requirement, planning and scheduling workload, systems analysis, programming, technical support, dealing with user queries and user training. Most of my work involves the complete project lifecycle.
Although I have a managerial position, I still have "hands-on" access to projects at all levels.
